The Roadmaster EZ Base Plate Kit, part # 523102-1 will work with the Roadmaster Falcon 5250 Tow Bar on your 2000 Saturn L. The Falcon 5250 tow bar is a discontinued tow bar. The EZ base plates feature removable draw bar arms that you can remove when you are not flat towing the vehicle.

The Titan Chain Alloy Snow Tire Chains part # TC1540 are an excellent option for a 2002 Saturn L300, one of my personal favorites. They are class s compatible which means they are designed for vehicle's with limited wheel well clearance. That said, we are not able to test all tire chains individually on x,y,z vehicle so the final clearance checks will be up to the end user. I reached out to the manufacturer who said that for steps that are made prior to 1999 they have to recommend replacing your steps entirely with a new unit.
They said the Lippert Components Kwikee Control Unit # LC363989 may work but it is designed for control modules manufactured from 1999 through 2005 and would not be able to guarantee it will work as a replacement for your 909513 due to its age.

My guess is that your Falcon 5250 tow bar is missing the quick disconnect crossbar assembly, # 910021-00. This comes up frequently. This assembly has plates that bolt to the draw bar arms on the base plates. The crossbar pins to these brackets and the Falcon 5250 pins to the crossbar. I spoke with my contact at Blue Ox and he said the Rangefinder II BX4322 tow bar will not work with Blue Ox removable arm base plates like the # BX3323 for your 2004 Saturn L300 Series. The slot in the removable arm is not deep enough to connect to the Rangefinder II tow bar.
